The Benington-Farrington Recreational Association (BFRA) is a volunteer
-member run organization that exists to provide swimming and related recreational facilities for its members and their guests.
The BFRA Pool is located in West Knoxville just inside the North entrance to the Benington Subdivision. A local map and directions are available (map).
The BFRA Pool is open May 19th at NOON, the last day of school for Knox County!
Out-of-town guests are permitted at no cost when accompanied by a member. Guests from the greater Knoxville area are permitted up to FIVE visits per season for a daily fee of $5.00 per person. THEY MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A BFRA POOL MEMBER. This rule will be enforced at check in! Please pay the lifeguard staff as you enter the pool facility.
No Glass in Pool Area
No Food or Drink within 5 ft of Pool
No Running or Horseplay
No Smoking or Vaping
No Roller Skates or Skateboards
No Large Rafts or Floats
No Diving in Shallow End
Only Soft Rubber Balls and Toys in Pool
Swim Diapers are Required
Babysitters/ Nannies must be at least 15 years old and MUST show their nanny pass
12 and Under Must Be Accompanied by an Adult
Pool Closed for 30 Minutes After Thunder
Supervision of Children in Wading Pool is Sole Responsibility of Parent
DEEP END RULES
One Person on the Board at a Time
Only One Bounce on the Diving Board
Only 8 People in Deep End for Games-
No Diving Off Sides
No Other Swimmers in the Deep End While Using the Board
No Floatation Devices when Going Off the Board
Persons Must Wait for Until the Swimmer is on the Ladder Before Jumping off the Board
